Grant 17, McDaniel 0

Deckard Hale, a stalwart on the Generals defense since he was a freshman, had a 68-yard punt that ended up on the 1-yard line to help keep McDaniel pinned back and preserve the shutout.
Grant improves to 2-2 in the PIL and 2-5 overall, McDaniel falls to 1-3 in league play, 2-5 overall.
The Generals go for win No. 3 back at “home” next week when they take on Franklin at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at Marshall Campus. McDaniel welcomes in PIL leader Roosevelt at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24.
