Portland high school girls basketball team rewinds for 2025-2026

The temperatures are dropping which means the fun is just beginning inside high school gyms across Portland.

The high school girls basketball season begins Wednesday, Dec. 3, along with the rest of the winter sports in boys basketball, boys and girls wrestling, and boys and girls swimming.

Here, we take a look at who’s back and who’s new for each of the 19 local girls basketball squads.

BENSON GIRLS
